These are versatile and comfortable items of furniture that will expand and change as your child grows and their requirements change - even to the point when they are ready to leave home. Whereas to begin with, for the first couple of years you need a child bed that protects the child from falling and also prevents him from getting out by himself and wandering about, later these requirements will change. When a child becomes a toddler, and is able to get out of his or her crib it can be dangerous not to move them into a toddlers bed because there is the apprehension of the child getting hurt as he or she tries to get out. Also as a child gets potty trained he or she should be able to get out of bed by himself or herself in order to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
When it comes to using furniture in the room, stick to small-to-medium sized pieces. In place of using separate furniture pieces, look at using a combination basinette/bureau which will give the illusion of more space while still allowing for changing baby easily. But you dont have to stick to all small accessories and furniture in your nursery, selecting some larger accessories will add interest and appeal to the room, so whereas you might want to go for the small crib, include a large mobile, they will compliment each other and also add an interesting element to the room.
Beautiful Basset Cribs - Basset cribs have a simple though very distinctive style, evoking an American cottage or New England look. The names of the collections bring to mind this sense of time and place: American Home, Cottage Pine, New Haven, Timber Creek and others. These baby cribs are perfect for nurseries that have a simple, understated decor.
